My First Post – Coach Ben

Born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, I was first introduced to golf by my Dad at the age of 4…He cut down one of his 3-irons and put a grip on it (a club I still have to this day).

I grew up with a strong appreciation for academic and athletic achievement, graduating with a Chemical Engineering degree from University of Virginia in 2013 and having played almost every sport at along the way. Yet, I’ve always been most passionate about golf. I became a certified instructor in 2021 through the USGTF, head coach for my local alma mater high school, and daydream daily about my once in a lifetime experiences playing some of golf’s most well-known locations including Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, and St. Andrews. In 2018 and 2019, I also participated in two Korn Ferry Tour Pro Am events, gaining valuable insights into professional golf.

My hope is to bring the joy of golf to more people, especially those in the younger generations. Please follow along to learn why you should join the journey!
